Trying to blog again, but this time around I decided to change things up a bit. My natural place for doing this is a hosted wordpress site, partially because it’s so easy, partially because it’s written in php, yes I enjoy php, and partially because I’ve used it extensively over the past 10 years or so. Now, I’ve always been too frugal (read cheap) to actually let someone else host this for me, plus I like learning how to do things – so I’ve always done it myself. Over the past few years, given where the market is going and given my relationship with Pivotal, I have modified my default installation and operations of such a site to leverage a cloud foundry oriented deployment. After forking and cloning this idea, I have deployed it to great success and operations happiness, in the past – and am doing it again with you, the reader.
Kudos to the cloud.gov and Aidan for releasing this.
